Long time, no see!

Sorry for the lack of posts! We sorta... keep forgetting... Anyway.  Here are some pictures from the Saatchi Museum. The first pic is some robots from the exhibition and the second is my 'modern sculpture'.. XD 

What do you think? This Picture is taken at the Zurik?? Zuorik? Zuriok?? museum! It one of the sculptures there, it shows a bird moving... its hard to explain... you'll have to go there yourself!!
Anyway, i'm pretty excited 'cos I discovered I can do loads of different coloured pictures/films (Black'n'White, Sepia... Vivid... etc.. etc...)!
Anyway... I'd better shut up! I'm hogging this blog (whoops...)!

P.S !!!

This is H.B having a go at light art. Basically someone puts their camera on to long shutter (or something like that...) and the other person is given a little light to hold and to draw a picture with! Don't know if anyone got any better photos, my shutter time was only one minute... if so please upload on here!

Hey Everyone,

Miranda tells me the CLAG blog is dying 'cos no one is posting on it but her and Wombat...

So... Here is a picture from one of the freezes (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) that we made when we went to the Royal Albert Hall, to look at the freezes on the building! We got to go up close to the roof! Anyway, in the workshop after we were told to get into groups and make our OWN freezes! Here is part of our one (Miranda, Wombat, someone whos name I don't know, and me!).

Cut Out Animation

Today we went to the Cartoon Museum to do a workshop on Cut Out Animation.

V&A Chair Sketch

Me, Wombat and my mum went to the V&A just for fun the other day, and we went to that exhibition with all the modern chairs (those of you who went to the pattern workshop might remember). Here is a sketch of one of them.

This is my Scribble Drawing, inspired by a lot of things. Number one, was a Scribbling Activity book in the shop of the Royal Academy. Number two was all that modern art we've been going to see recently, and number three was the Van Gogh exhibition, and his use of colours.

wow this is weird i have no idea what i am doing i hope i am ment to do this.

Miya Why are you still in your pj's ive been up since 7:30 and its almost 12 am i crazy yes but im just lazy as well. well actually i have a ballet class later so im very active ecxept i want to eat lunch (what am i talking about i should be thinking about those poor kids in hati no food no drink and here i am ranting on) ( tut tut tut) i dont look fat im not sure im a size 8 but every one else is really skinny i dont want to be super skinny just slim! im still really sorry for hitting blu it was an accident.
i hope i have done well on my first blog

Welcome!

Welcome to the Central London Art Group's new blog! We are a group of 10 to about 16 year olds who love doing art - also, did I mention we're home educated? 

Our latest trip was to the Royal Academy in Piccadilly to see the Van Gogh exhibition. It happened to be extremely crowded when we we

re being shown round so we had to use our elbows to butt through the crowd! Although, by the end of the two hour talk (!!) I think there were more members of the public on the talk that home-ed kids! All in all, though, it was an interesting and inspiring workshop. I was inspired to start sketching again! Here's my finished working ... we were in Cafe Nero and there was a man sitting across the room. And there was nothing else to sketch so ... :)
